Product Guide

A guide to hopefully clear up some questions about how I breakdown prices!

- 3D Avatars -

The Basics

I'm here to make custom avatars. I'm not here to re-texture or rig other creators' models. If wanted though, I can recommend a few other fellow 3D creators that would be more than happy to take on these jobs ^^

I only make 3.0 PC (non-Quest standalone compatible) avatars and I do my best to make sure each avatar is Full Body Tracking compatible. It's recommended that you use Open VR (OVR) Advanced Settings to account for playspace adjustments made by VR-Chat (and any VR game in general).

New VR-Chat accounts are unable to upload custom avatars until they're ranked up to New User. This means that you must play VR-Chat for 4-24 (more or less) hours in worlds with other users until you get an email from VR-Chat. I can NOT do anything to help you get around this so please be aware. Additionally, AFKing in private worlds will NOT contribute to you ranking up. If you have friends, I'd simply vibe with them for a while until you get ranked up! That way, you can avoid going to a public world if that's not your thing :3

Base Avatars

All base VR-Chat avatars from me will include 8 facial expressions, visemes, and related tail control for your character's species are part of the base avatar!

Facial Expressions

By default, they are Joy, Angry, Sorrow, Fear, Determined/Smug, Disappointed/Unimpressed, Exhausted, and Fun/Blep. More is listed on my form. You can ask to change them with any other expression that is not listed too. Any additional facial expressions that you may want me to add to your avatar will cost an extra $10 each and may require a visual reference.

You have 3 options to choose from in terms of activating your expressions in-game:

  • Link them to hand gestures (I.E. thumbs up makes you smile)

  • Puppeteered by an avatar axis menu (expressions will be blended together)

  • Toggled by your avatar menu (either on or off)

You can choose all 3 options but you need to select at least 1!

Props

What I consider to be props are items that require very little to no consideration for deforming sections. That is, a prop in my mind is any object that can simply be placed on any section of your avatar and remain in place. These include but are certainly not limited to:

  • Sunglasses

  • Food

  • Hats & helmets

  • Wristbands

  • Staffs

  • Swords

  • Badges

  • Phones

  • Much much more

Props will be bundled as one prop (price & all) if they're very similar in shape AND don't require new texture work. For example, A group of earrings will be marked as one prop but you can't mark earrings and necklaces as a single prop. They will be marked as 2+ separate props.

Small Garments

I consider garments to be small when they have a minute area of deformation/ cover a relatively small area of your character's body. Examples include tank tops, briefs, gloves, shorts, and more.

Large Garments

Garments will be considered large when they cover a significant chunk of your character from any direction! These include shirts, pants, hoodies, leggings/ stockings, capes/ cloaks, and so on.

Clothing/ Attire Sets

With sets, I will aim to create your character's clothing as one big set instead of individual garments. This means that you won't be able to toggle the garments separately (not referring to any small or large garment). If your set only consists of a single article or has small articles within the bigger article, It'll be considered an individual garment. If you have any parts of your design that I consider to be a prop (see the "Prop" section), you can choose to keep them as part of your clothing set or have them as individual toggleable props. Choosing the latter would mean that they'll be marked and priced as props.

VRChat Physbones

I will no longer use Will Hong's Dynamic Bone asset for VRChat avatars as it will be deprecated from VRC in the future. All avatars will include VRChat's in-house bone physics system, physbones!

Along with adding jiggly physics to hair, fur, and other parts, it allows us to create custom functioning systems such as sheathing swords, bonks, head pats, custom elaborate "touch screen" menus, and much much more!

While I'm okay with adding custom stuff using physbones, an extra fee may be charged if it will be complex to design and implement!

VTuber Compatibility

I can create a basic .vrm or .vsfavatar file for you to stream using VSeeFace if wanted. That's all ^^.
